One of the reasons I chose the Mountaineer by Montana was the generally good owner reports I saw on this and other forums. It seems that one of the things lacking in the RV industry is real accountability for craftsmanship and workmanship. The RVIA Seal is supposed to demonstrate a commitment to a certain level of competency in maufacturing but doesn't appear to have any real teeth.
With that said, the consumer is often left with little recourse to fix problem areas other than the goodwill of the manufacturer and a dealer that cares about his customer after the sale. J.D. Powers and Associates has announced that they are in the process of surveying the RV consumer to determine how we feel about the value we have received in our RV purchase.
Here is our opportunity to speak out on the products we have received and the service we have received after the sale. This is an excellent first step in bringing accountabilty to this growing industry.
Here are a couple of links if you would like to participate in the survey process.

My experience with Keystone's products has been a good one. Maybe yours hasn't but we can both have input into a process that can only result in better products in the future.
Happy Trails!!
