Holiday Travel L Park VA Beach???
We are planning on staying at Va beach on the way home from the rally in Mayberry NC in August. Can anyone share with us site numbers for regular sites that our Montana would fit comfortable, and easy to get into. Our Montana is 38 ft. Also any knowledge about the campground would be appreciated. We picked this cg due to the closeness to town as we have scooters.
Thanks

This campground is huge so they will have plenty of big sites and pull thrus. Towards the back is where we usually stayed and back then we had a 35 ft Bounder. Plus you are a distance from the pools and bands that they bring in. Just watch for the trees when pulling into a site. Also they run a shuttle from there to the beach for a couple dollars a week, might be easier then being out in that traffic on a scooter.. Oh take some ear plugs lol lol...it is in the path of the Marine/Navel air station and jet fighters do touch and go's all day long...they do stop around 10pm though. They are pretty dang loud and does get annoying after a couple of days, but just an excuse to spend the day on the beach...

We have stayed at the Holiday Traveler in VA Beach, two times in recent years on our way back from FL.
We like the concrete pads in their "big rig" section.
The sites in this section are plenty big.

Really a nice place...especially the super sites...and yes the jets do fly a lot in the area....the noise...we call it the necessary sound of freedom!

We stayed there last June for a week. Very nice park and the sites are roomy. The delux sites give you even more room and I would recommend them over the regular sites.
The jets can be a little noisey but just remember that they are maintaining their skills to protect our freedom. They can make all the noise they wish!

We stay there every time we head soutn to N.C. It's a great campground to stay in and there is plenty of room for your unit. Just call and tell them what you
have, what kind of spot you want.(Pull-Thru, Back in, Concrete Pads etc) they have it. Military jets may make a little noise but freedon isn't cheap. It's really
a great campground - enjoy!
