3655FL slideout

Had the 5er out for the last couple of weeks in North Carolina (I'll post about the campgrounds in the appropriate forum) and had a small problem with the bedroom slide. The dinning table slide worked well but the bedroom slide would go about three quarters of the way in and stop. The wife barely pushed on the slide and it went the rest of the way in. I keep it well lubricated so not sure why it would get caught up. Any ideas?

We had the same problem, except that pushing wouldn't help. Let up on the "IN" switch for about 5-10 seconds, pushed it again and all worked OK. This went on for a month before we could get it to a repair place. Turned out to be an incorrect amperage rating "fuse" installed for the hyd pump motor. The fuse is a block type, and is mounted in the front compartment, on the wall just behind the hyd pump motor. It has a little red cover over it, and large guage wires attached to it. It is supposed to be 50 amps, ours was only 30 amps. I heard that Keystone has issued either a Recall or Service Bulletin concerning this problem...check with your dealer..

If You hold the in switch and it pauses then starts again then the circuit breaker is tripping then resetting. It's been a problem for many.

We had the same thing happen until I replaced original "house" battery with a pair of deep-cycle marine batteries.

The old battery was very weak and simply didn't have enough power to do the job. (Another symptom was its inability to crank the generator.

I also have a '03 3655FL and we are about to leave from VA to AR this week. Thanks for the information regarding the fuse (50a vs:30a). I will look at mine to see what it is. So far, no trouble with the slides.

Sounds like a bubble in the hydrolic fluid. Run it out and in a couple of times. Mine did the same thing if I let up off the button for a second. It wouldn't come all the way in. Now I keep the button pushed down until it goes in. Also check your electric cables under the slide. The spring tension is only held on with a plastic tye and they tend to break. We replaced ours after seeing the cord hanging down. I keep extras now. That may be hanging on one of the slides as the hydrolic arm pulls it in.

Thanks for the tips. Sometimes if I let off the button for a couple of seconds it will go in when I press it again, other times it will just stay there. Like I said the wife just barely pushed it and it went in the rest of the way. It's an intermediate problem. Anyway, will check out all the options given here. Thanks again!!!

We had our slide go out crooked one time. One side only would go out. Found out it was a bolt that had sheared off that slide.
