Is anyone staying at Slab City this year? How many people are there this year?

bigmurf,

Might have to get more information from you, looks like a great place to spend some time. We will be in the area, so may pick your brain for details.

Thanks for the information.

Robbie: Never stayed there myself. Looks good for meeting "local color".

There is a lot of "local color". We found the slabs to be an interesting place to visit but weren't sure we would be comfortable staying there by ourselves, but that may be an overreaction on our part. If you go be sure to stop and see Salvation Mountain and visit with Leonard the creator. He went to the slabs years ago for a visit, felt a religious calling and never left.
