Off to Europe!!

but not with the Monty...

Thought that would get your attention!! LOL!

We are headed to Europe (four weeks in Italy and then a week in Paris) from 9 April until 18 May. Doing it all on airline miles and Internet shopping for lodging/transportation deals.

Monty is in storage. Batteries disconnected, fresh water tank and all holding tanks drained, 2 gal of very weak chlorine/water solution then added to each holding tank and fresh water tank, hot water tank drained and plug left out, all faucets opened, both low point drains opened and drained. Fridge OFF, emptied, dried out and both doors propped open. Some old crumpled up newspaper sheets inside.

If I forgot anything in all that, please let me know by Sunday!!

We will be back in contact and with the Forum o/a 18 May.

Till then, Best regards,

Pat,

with newspaper IN the fridge and freezer, you do NOT have to prop open the doors. I believe it actually works better with doors closed.

Have a great time.

What a wonderful trip! Dress warm. Europe can still be very cold in April and May, and rainy. It even snowed in June. We lived in Germany for three years and would love to go back. So many beautiful things to see.

Have a great time!
