Front Graphics
I know this subject has been hit hard on the site but--I must report this wonderful success. I contacted Kristin at Burlington Graphics with an email on Saturday Nov 14 with a description that my 2006 front cap graphics were peeling off with a photo. Kristin emailed me today--Nov 16 that the graphics were under warranty and would be replaced at NO COST. The shipment is being prepared and sent to me. I am one HAPPY CAMPER OR MOCER! Great job by the Burlington Staff!

Congratulations and welcome to the Burlington/Montana Graphics Warranty Redemption Club. Now if you are like me, all you have to do is figure out how to convince DW that the removal of peeling graphics and the follow-up installation of the new ones is an artistic endeavor that a man should really not attempt!!! Fat chance huh?????

I think I have an OUT--We are going to the Spring MOC Rally in Kerrville in March and before that the Sweetheart Rally (RV.Net) in February also in Kerrville, TX.--Got to look good for my RVing friends. I may even get it done by Christmas since we are headed to Tulsa to Susan's family!
With temps in the 70's--I should be able to get this done!

Keystone sent me a full set a little over a year ago. Due to numerous setbacks this year, we didn't get as much quality time in camping as we usually do. Therefore, all I have replaced so far is the front cap. It's not a job for the faint of heart IMO. Glue removal was time consuming and messy. Sure looks good after though. Hope to get the side done in the spring. They have really started self destructing now. keeping the new decals in the boxes in the basement of the stick house wheere it's nice and dry and slightly cooler than the rest of the house. Hope they stay OK. Delaer once told me they have a limited shelf life if you don't put them on.

Gang,
I wonder that with so many requests for new graphics, there wouldn't be some kind of recall to have the factory replace them at their cost and effort. This would mean that the local dealer would be responsible for the replacement, but that would be better than the owner. My 2009 front cap is pealing on the top of all the letters and one of the sides has a wrinkle in it. I was told that this probably wouldn't be under warranty, but a request could be made to the manufacturer of the decals. Just who put them on and who is responsible for the endurance of the install??? I'll let the rep look at the rig in Texas in March to see what they say.

Stimpy123,
I doubt there will ever be an official recall to deal with the graphics. The graphics are not a life and death type issue. And generally they do not even harm or destroy property. So don't hold your breath for a recall on the decals.
There are several threads right now talking about this issue. You may want to read up on them. Some of us are replacing decals and some are even removing the bad decals and having something painted on.
Good luck and let us know what you end up doing.
Dennis

I know this irritates us all. Yesterday I saw an SOB going down the road that was stripped naked, presumably a reaction to the same problem we experience. Guess we're not alone.

I don't know if you have seen the KOA Support Team 5er--we saw it in Albuquerque in October. It is a NO GRAPICS Montana! Lots of KOA grapics on the front and sides in place of the Montana Graphic scenes.
