Update to: Huston I've got a problem Refer out
Rolled in into camp yesterday set up later noticed ref temp was warmer, thought was due to getting things out for dinner went in again later temp was higher. Allthe lights on panel are on, checked breakers, all on. All fuses on the outside were checked. After taking the Monty to the dealer after the Rally. The problem turned out that the area where the pilot lights was dirty and had some cobwebs, all cleaned out, back to normal..

Hi Greg,
Glad to hear it was a simple fix. As I recall the pilot light was lit and no cold. When you switched to electric... no cold. One day it was working and the next day not working. You said it was cobwebs. Was the clogged area around the flame area or in the vent to the roof? Do you know how was the area cleaned? Thanks in advance, your experience and solution might save another MOCer from a similar ruined outing.
Again, glad to hear the fridge is up and running.
John

Glad to learn it was an easy fix for the refrig. Your fudge is still the talk of the campground.

Greg,
Isn't it frustrating when the fix is so darned simple? Glad you got it fixed.
Quartzsite fans have already heard about your fudge.....

It was the gas burner tube that was dirty and had cobwebs. I found a tool that will clean out that area, so I can clean it out myself. I am glad to still hear that everyone liked the fudge.

GregN - Regarding the cleaning tool, do you have a picture or information what it is?

This is a very common occurrance. Spiders are attracted to propane.

Can spiders smell? I think they are attracted to the orifice. Just like wasps and other nesting hunters. Ya think?

The tool is a Gas Burner Tube Cleaner, made by Camco RV. It is in the RVupgrades.com catalog. Part # 66-8831 or page 414 if you have the catalog. It is about $11.
