Maggie Valley, NC

Hi, we're looking for a nice place to stay in Maggie Valley, NC for a week in May. Checked out a few places from a Haywood County broucher. Some looked nice, but we would like to have a been there opinion. Thanks

Rubble check this one out. I'm here right now till monday, I come here for years, coming back in June for a month. Its off of I-40, exit 20, its only 5 miles to maggie, 7 miles to waynesville, 28 miles to Ashville. They are passport America, have full hookups with free wifi and 68 channel cable. all sites very level, with Jonathan creek running thru it they have creekside sites a few dollars more. I dont think you would regret camping here. hope this helps

Yep, I'll second the vote for Creek Wood Farm. Stayed there using Passport America last summer for a week. Nice place with WiFi.

Thanks Tom and Azstar...I think we'll have to check it out in May. We are kind of going to travel around for the next couple of years to see where we want to "home base" after we retire this area is definitely on our short list.
