Check your pin box bolts
In the process of changing my pin box to a MorRyde rubber pin box and adding wet bolts. While I have a check list spreadsheet that I use for normal maintenance, i.e., wheel torque, suspension, bearing lube, etc., I'll be the first to admit that I have paid little to no attention to the pin box. While removing the original pin box, 10 bolts were torqued to less than 80 pounds, one bolt was slightly less than finger tight and only one was torqued to slightly over 125. All were torqued far less than the required amount. So, looks like upgrading my pin box might have prevented a really nasty situation in the making. Just thought I'd pass this along.
