Freezer Drawer
I have a 3121RL with the Samsung 3-door residential refrigerator. I cannot figure out how to remove the inside plastic freezer drawer (not the silver outer drawer face) and bottom bin. Has anyone figured this out? I can tilt the front of the inside drawer up, but the freezer compartment does not pull out far enough to totally lift it up and out.
Thanks in advance

Our freezer drawer tracks were stuck and not allowing the drawer to open all the way.Had to lubricate and pull really hard numerous times. The drawer finally broke loose and opened all the way.Once opened all the way the bin slides right up and out.Hope this helps you.

We had to pull on ours pretty hard to get it past the "short" opening. I couldn't even get the ice bin out of ours, but after pulling it hard a few times, it now opens fully to where I can remove the bins without issue.

It will open about 6 - 8 inches wider after doing this.

Are you guys talking about the outside silver freezer door? Or the inside plastic freezer drawer?

Im speaking of the outside silver door NOT opening far enough to remove the bins from the freezer. Mine only opened out to the edge of the slide out trim...after several hard pulls, it opened 6-8 wider. I couldn't remove my ice bin prior to doing that, Now I can remove ice bin and the plastic drawers from the freezer if needed, for cleaning.

Ok, I wanted to make sure before I started putting some extra pull on it. But it sounds exactly like mine. It won't open far enough to be able to remove the inside sliding drawer or bottom basket. I'll give it a try tomorrow. Thanks

I pulled on mine from the center eft/right side of the bottom drawer...NOT on the handle. That way I knew it was an even force on both sides at the same time. It made a strange sound as I done it, like it was stripping out the gears, it didn't tho...just let it open all the way and more freely.

Yes, I'm talking about the residential refrigerator silver freezer drawer does not open out far enough to allow me to remove the inside plastic freezer drawer or the bin below it.

Interesting how many forum members describe the same issues. In addition to the drawer always sliding back in before I could even get what I wanted out of it, I also could not figure how to get the plastic bin out for cleaning. The thought of dealing with the dealer or Keystone on a small issue after wasting 6 months on big issues made me just accept the nuisance.
Just yesterday I noticed the table in my 3731 sloped down about a inch. I wondered if there some support legs hidden somewhere I needed to install; none. I reran the auto level and all was good. I got out a real level and found everything in the kitchen area had a slope to the drivers side. So now, I'll research how to check/re-calibrate auto level, or if you just have to fine tune it with manual control.

You can use a level on the kitchen counters to level the coach....low and behold afterwards you will have doors in the bathroom or bedroom not closing correctly or sliding closed on their own , because that area is out of level. Its a never ending battle.
These units are NOT built square to make it truly level throughout the coach at the same time.

If the freezer door seems to be sticking on the tracks and not coming open all the way, a simple way to get it to open fully AND realign the tracks at the same time is to grab both sides of the freezer door midway top to bottom and give it a good hard pull. Almost a jerk. Keep pulling straight out until the door comes to a hard stop. It will. At that point, it is open all the eway and the rails (tracks) are aligned correctly. This is from many, many years of experience working on Samsung, LG, and others that make that door/drawer design. The plastic drawer on the 18 cu ft Samsung that Keystone puts in these 5rs, simply lifts out.

What a great thread. I just read it out of curiosity and then shazamm. Jeeze for a year I've been getting ice cubes one at a time cause I'm thinking with a couter depth fridg that's all the opening I'm going to get. Then I go over and pull a bit harder and now I can actually use the freezer for stuff like ice cream and more. Also I can finally reach those ice cubes that fall out of the back of the bin. Even the little tips just make life better. Thanks all for cluing me in.
