No. If I remember correctly I shortened the connection a little with a shark bite.

Which model 320 Dometic will fit directly in our 13 3402 without alteration.I see high profile, low profile, standard. We have the OEM Thetford. My guess is the Standard model.
We have the 2012 3402, and I replaced the high Thetford toilet with the high Dometic 310, but could have just as easily used the high 320 model. There is plenty of room for either one. The only thing that may require a little extra work is the water connection on the Dometic is on the other side from the Thetford. I got lucky, and was able to make the connection without cutting an elbow into the PEX, but your installation may be just slightly different.

I installed a 320 high profile in my 2014 3402 with no problem. Altered the piping only to install a shut off valve. Good improvement over the oem.

Well went out and purchased a Dometic 320 High Profile john today as we got tired of repairing this cost effective thetford. It is only a matter of time before it fails and floods the RV. Got a fair price and they will install it as we can no longer do that kind of stuff my right knee is so bad that IF i can get down i will not be able to get up.

When you can see the OEM Thetford and the Dometic 320 side by side the quality of the 320 and the cost effectiveness of the Thetford is glaring. Should have it in the next couple of weeks.. On a side note Helen was cleaning the fantastic fan and when she took down the screen it fell apart in her hands. The bathroom fan also fell apart both the screen an the plastic part that holds the screen in also one of the burners on the stove is not igniting..no snap to ignite the gas...Oh well normal stuff.

Richard, i have a 2014 3402rl . I installed the dometic 320 in our rv and i believe it is the standard. I didn't no they had 3 different sizes. I do know mine is not the low profile. Mine is about 16 1/2 or 17 inches tall. If your toilet is like mine it is installed at an angle. I installed the new one straight with the wall facing the sink which i think is better as it gives more room. I purchased mine with the sprayer and i paid 199.00 at PPL.

The OEM thetford is the high profile model. The high profile Dometic is about 18 inches high You can check the specs at the CW web site/ The big difference is the Dometic high profile bowl is oblong and 1 3/4 inches longer at the bowl . Ours is also at a angle we will check on the more room issue. It was allegedly installed at the angle to provide more room.????

That price is about what I paid for mine.I have not got the bill yet.

iIf you had bought it before the rally i would have installed it for you while we were there. My toilet looks the same as the longated kohler toilet i have in my home. My wife didn't understand why i was removing what she thought was a perfectly good toilet until i installed this one. I agree

Rich, I don't think I would like the Low Profile. It would be like falling backwards and we all know how well I do that!

Lift the cooktop of the range and you possibly will see that the wire from the igniter has come loose from the hole it is supposed to be in. We regularly have to shove it back into the igniter. I'm thinking the next time it comes loose, I will distort it a bit and use pliers to force it back in so it may finally stay in place.

The problem was that right at the bend were it goes to the burner the wire had cracked and the spark was going to ground. We turned off the lights at night and observed the spark jumping to ground.Easy fix with a bit of electrical tape.

It gets hot in there and the wires dry out. If a low end user you may never have that problem.

I had the same problem with my stove called the manufacturer and they sent new wires free.

How did this end up with a stove question when it started out to be about the toilet? Well I guess the stove is the other end of the equation. Everything starts there and ends with the toilet

I had mentioned as a side note that everything we touched was falling apart. We did get some good feedback on the stove problem it never hurts to ask here.
