Xenon Lighting

When I re-modeled the stick house kitchen last year I installed Xenon lighting under the cabinets. These are low voltage (12v). Has anyone installed them in their 5vr and did you go with the low voltage AC or DC system? I am leaning toward the DC myself since I can draw directly from the 12v DC circuits. Of course I will check that current draw stays within the capacity of the circuit. I am guessing this isn't as big an issue for the AC option.

I purchased some of these lights but have yet to instal them. I just can't bring myself to put a screw into the cabinets even if it is underneath.
