appollo bites the dust

So....the Appollo finally went crazy! Switched to conv. oven and started cooking at 350 for 28 min. all by itself!! Control panel is totally inoperative, tried several times to reset and it refuses to co-operate! Now JUNK! ANY suggestions on replacement that fits just perfect? Thanks for the help! Now in Osage Beach,Mo. so Walmarts only available I think.

We used a magic chef convection micro that we bought at Lowes..fits perfectly.. you might have to trim the outside decorative panel a bit.....but.....make sure that it has the heat dispersing fans to get rid of the heat accumulation......

Wowzers! Bet you're glad you weren't cooking POP TARTS or you'd be calling the Fire Department!

We replaced the Apollo with a standard microwave. I never found an adequate way to remove the heat from the cabinet with another 23-in convection. Most required more wall clearance than I had available, and none had the unique exhaust fan design that Apollo uses.

We chose the Amana in black because of the fit, and it had a trim kit available with ducting that forced the exhaust air out the front, even though the mirco doesn't generate near the heat as a convection does.
