Full Timing is still in our future ....

... But maybe not exactly what you think. Our story:

My wife and I have been married for over 37 years now. From the very beginning we agreed that we both wanted cremation when we die and we want our ashes placed together in the same urn. In 37 years, we have not wavered from this plan.

Now that I am retired, it was time we started putting more "things" in order. We updated our Wills, property ownership, and Power of Attorney's all since January of this year. We've safeguarded our finances as best as we could, and we even pre-paid and made pre-arrangements for our funerals.

When meeting with the funeral director we discussed our desire for cremation and everything that was involved in that. We arranged everything except the Urn. Ever since we've owned our first travel trailer, we've always teased about simply being berried in the back yard inside our camper, if a hole could be dug deep enough, that's how much we've loved all our campers, and our Montana is no exception. So, we opted out of purchasing an Urn and decided to explore our own avenues there.

My wife found a web site call https://foreverence.com, click here/ that custom makes funeral Urns. Well, we contacted them and after about 3 months they completed our Urn. It will contain both my wife's ashes, my ashes, and our 2 loved Dachshunds with us, who have already been cremated.

We received the Urn today and it definitely far exceeded our expectations! So in the end ... WE WILL be permanent ... forever full timers:

Here's some more images of the Urn from different angles:

Some may think this is truly a morbid subject, but you know, it really gives my wife and me a lot of comfort knowing that we are truly forever full timers!

Having just made and paid for all our funeral arrangements, I love the RV urn! We just bought our very first RV (2022 3231 with Super Solar), picked up April 20, spent 5 nights shakedown….then back to dealer to fix all the initial problems, still there after 6 weeks so just about ready to kill myself….can I join you in your urn?

Anyway, clearly you love the RV life, and my wife I and I (also 37 years) hope to learn to love it also,, if we ever get it back fixed. We will be at the rally in Sept, hope to meet you there.

Brought this thread to the attention of my DW to get her reaction. She is all giddy with excitement of the prospect of getting our own fiver urn made. Now I'm starting to wonder if she is all giddy because she has finally found the perfect place to "get rid of the evidence".....
