Breakable Dish Transport

We are Montana newbies and planning our first trip.

I wanted to use stoneware dishes for meals. Does anyone use and travel with breakable dishes? How do you safely stow them when traveling? Am I crazy? Any comments, suggestions, warnings are welcomed and encouraged. Talk to me! Hahaha.

I carried a set of Timkin teddyBear plates for many years. Put paper towels between each plate

We used to carry them. Used shelf lining between them. Just ditched them recently for Corell. Saved weight and less hassle. We still have glassware.

We also use Corelle. Also use dish holders from CW to so we can store them on edge to save space. They work great.

Corelle. Lightweight, durable. And easy to replace.

Use paper plates or shelf liners between plates. Have never broken one.

DW uses Corelle but she puts the waffle -spongy drawer liner down to provide some cushion - plate are in cabinet to the front of the kitchen so they should get less bounce.

We had a RK rear kitchen fiver. We went over a bump in the road and unloaded the cabinets. It broke everything in the cabinets except one cup. Our HC is RL read living with the kitchen in the center. We have been over bumps just as bad and have not broke anything since we went to RL campers.
