Selling products on the road, swap meets, Rodeo's

Do we have members that sell while on the road traveling?
We are this trip, we made a line of pistol holsters at home, then stopped at gun stores in Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona. We are now stopping at swap meets. Did the one at Parker, (caught the last one) at La Paz, now we booked a month at Lake Havasu Az. Got a double booth there.
What about other MOC members, do you folks run a circuit, what do you sell?
We can't be the only ones...
If you are close, stop and see us at Sunday's Swap Meet, I picked the 2 spaces next to the Red Food truck... Yummy..
The subscription doesn't work with my Apple phone, so I will check back in.

Joyce sells paintings and I sell photo greeting cards and some wood decorative pieces that I cut and Joyce paints. Right now we are doing it haphazard, but the reason we bought the place in Lakewood, NM and won't be working for Fish and Wildlife anymore is so we go after what we like to do more aggressively. Swap meets and craft fairs will definitely be on the agenda for next fall/winter.

Ozz: You make custom holsters or ones that are "one size fits all"? Are they IWB or OWB?

Always looking for a good holster for CCW.

Scott, I won't turn this thread into a sales pitch, but will answer your question in a PM, thanks.

Dick, I didn't know you guys were going to do that and didn't know you bought the place in NM, great news, Joyce is so talented, I have seen her wirk, Sue has one of her art pieces. Good luck to both of you.

Tom, we checked with our CPA on what to do, all the governments dip their hand in the till, but you just have to do what is demanded. Lol, Arizona calls it a transactionPrivilege tax... Yea, thanks for that.
City, county, state. All with their hand out on the sales.

Sales tax. I go to a big benchrest shooting match in Ohio on memorial weekend. There will be hundreds of thousands of dollars worth sold by vendors and nobody pays sales tax. It's not uncommon for someone to spend 10, 20, 30 thousand and I have never even heard of any one paying sales tax.

Some venues need evidence of a sales tax number before you can set up, city and county properties. I know this varies, but they have officials with the tax departments spot check these venues.

Are you in Lake Havasu now? Was kinda hoping you were still in the Phoenix area as that is where I am right now. Wanted to check out your holsters. Lake Havasu would be fun to visit but is a nit farther than I wanted to drive at the moment.
