Carpet

Our 2011 had carpeting throughout living room area, but our new unit only had carpeting along the outside edges, with the rest of the living room/kitchen floor done in a wood-looking artificial floor. We thought that would work OK, but after a couple trips it seemed "cold" and "hard". So, we had our dealer install carpeting throughout the living room area while they could still order matching carpet from Keystone. What a difference!
Knowing what we know now, we would have had Keystone do it when we ordered the trailer. Dogs are happier too! Dealer did a great job, you would not know it was an afterthought.

Glad it worked out for you. Everyone's different. For us we'll be striping the carpet out this summer to replace it with wood.

We did the same thing on our last 5ver, the carpet added warmth to the rig, and really made a difference in the sound, the furry kids liked it a lot more. Like Dick said each to their own, we like carpet.
