Time Share for Almost Free (Not RV Related)

If anyone is interested, or know of anyone interested, I have a time share at April Sound, Montgomery County, TX, the 10th week of the year. It is a "blue," week. This year it is March 8-15. (Spring Break in many locations)

2 bdrm, 2 bath, kitchen/living area; pull out sleeper. Sleeps 6 comfortably. View on balcony of Lake Conroe (150 feet or so to the water) Swimming pool, Hot tub, several tennis courts. Exercise room. Two golf courses with free access for owner and family

I have owned this unit for the last 4 years and that coincided with the last 4 years I worked. We went every year and really enjoyed April Sound and the surrounding area. (Houston National Forest, Old Montgomery, Conroe, Factory Outlet. Woodlands Mall, etc.)

They do not take pets. However there is kennel boarding in the area.

Now that we have retired we do not want the expense of boarding the puppy, AND, being retired we can go where we want, when we want.

Maintenance cost per year is $404. It is also a "split week," which means you can stay 4 or 3 nights and bank the other nights.

Maintenance is paid for this year.

First come, first served. You can even stay in it this year.

Price: Pay for title transfer (Don't remember how much, but not that expensive) then you have to maintain the yearly maintenance fee.

Ozzie, you can get away from that Minnesota snow for a week! It does sound like a good deal but have to many commitments here in Big Red Country! I can only dream!

If you are a working family and can plan your vacation for the 10th week of the year (and always starts on a Saturday) then a time share is a very nice way to spend your vacation.

There are other amenities tied into time sharing that are to lenghy to go into here, but if anyone is interested they can give me a call. (Example: Free time, split week, banking, etc. some have hidden relatively small costs associated. Like, if you split your week and use the remainder at a later time there is a $70 fee for administrtive work)
