Window and screen

We have the 3400RL and we are wondering about screens for the small window between the refrigerator and the stove and the small window next to the head of the bed. Do they make them? Were they supposed to come with the unit? Thanks in advance again everyone. Kathy

You should have gotten them..Unless you have the dual pane windows. I believe I read somewhere that you don't have screens with those. Maybe it was just the exit windows. 1 in the bedroom and 1 with the entertainment window. I am not sure but I have that model and I know I have screens. Double check with your dealer. That doesn't sound right.

I just checked our screens on the Monty we are buying last Saturday for defects. There was a screen on each and every window including the bedroom and the kitchen.

No dual pane windows on our Monty. I would be checking with your delearship for replacements.

We are getting the dual pane windows, and I don't expect many screens on my 3400 when we take delivery July 11th - unless this has been changed recently. This my impression from the many posts I have read over the past year on this subject.

Single pane windows = screens. Double pane windows = no screens. We knew going in that this would be a tradeoff.

I think the only window that doesn't have a screen is the big window in the bedroom when you have dual panes. That may have changed but that was the way it was on the 2005's.
Happy trails............................

We have dual pane windows, Like Sue & Ed only the big Emergency window in the bedroom doesn't have a screen.
The rest all do.

We have the dual pane windows and have no screen on the two emergency windows. We do have screens for the kitchen and for the bedroom but they only open an inch. We have no clue why they do not have screens on the other two windows. It would be wonderful to be able to open the two large windows for circulation. Hopefully, Keystone will listen to the complaints of no screens.

Simon,

The bedroom windows should open more than an inch, or at least ours do NOW. The dealer had to remove a bunch of slag on the upper inside track of the window, now they go up at least 4 inches.

Welcome to the forum, and enjoy that Montana.

I'm not sure now. Just have to see when mine comes off the line. I'll let everyone know.
