2019 Furniture - Sofa & Theater Seat
Just pulled sofa out in preparation for kids spending a couple nights and it is pretty much not useable as is. There is about a 3/4” to 1” rise where the mechanism connects to frame to lay the cushions flat - feels like a bar across your mid back. Also, the folding leg raises that section up higher than rest of bed (maybe sofa was actually intended to be on a slide, not the flat floor). We have tried adjusting with wood blocks to level, which worked, but can’t compensate for the mechanism that cuts into your back. Tried a 3” topper but still feel the raise across your back. Now looking at an air mattress to put on top but that is 9-12” high. Anyone figured out a solution.
One side of our theater seating has noticeably sunk from the other. Springs look good. We would put stiffer foam in cushion but not a zipper cushion.
Unit is less than 6 weeks old. Hate to think we have to replace furniture.

Starting with our 2010, replaced the recliners. With our 2015, furniture was awful. Replaced dining table chairs, splitting seats. Replaced theater seating and couch (peeling bonded leather).

On our 2010 we replaced the furniture within the first month we owned it. Our 2017 has decent furniture and has lasted well so far. The couch as a bed is even comfortable, but none of it will last more than another couple of years.

Sofa on our 3100rl is on a slide but still has an uncomfortable hump. We used an air mattress and it worked well. Kids will find it more comfortable than a cot in a tent

We use a 3" thick foam pad that rolls up.

We have a 2019 Montana 3791RD. The furniture suck! That was our main, really big contention. We finally got a sizable discount from the sale price. We will be replacing our furniture one piece at a time.
