You will be over payload, the pin on these units is 2400, we load light and I am sitting at 2600 PIN weight and payload in F250 is max 2600, might be better off with F350 but I don’t have a 350 DRW I have SRW 2016 max payload 3700, max tow is 15,700 we are sitting at 22,000CGVW front axle is 5000 our FA is rated 6000 and rear axle is 7000 max we sit at 6200 and that is with nothing in the bed so double check all the numbers

Don’t forget to add weight of batteries, LP tanks, ppl and fuel and anything else you toss in the truck.

We were going for a 3721RL but it would have put us too close to our max Payload also 5 feet longer then our 3121RL

Good luck

I'll get my flame suit on and extinguisher ready put I pull a 2018 3121RL with a F250SD and have absolutely no issues. I do have Airlift 5000 bags but really just put them on for peace of mind.

Well, I’m not that new to this, but am a bit confused. So, are we saying the of the dozens of RV dealers I’ve been to and the different RVs I’ve looked at in this class, weight, type, that not one dealer would stand up and say, “Sorry Sir, you can’t tow this type of trailer.” I understand that there is no law or other restriction prohibiting the sale, but I would assume for safety sake, they would at least appeal to that. I guess I have a law suit on my hands... I assume I am early enough (one week since selection) in the sale to stop things before I am over committed. Everything I looked into and those that I know who trailer confidently state that my truck is within limits. I guess this if I don’t add an ounce to the 5th wheel. I will be calling the RV dealer to get their take... Hope my down payment is not lost and I spend my hard earned cash on this rig, no budget to upgrade to an F350 dually or other. Thanks, I’ll let you all know how it goes. My time as a MOC member may be short lived...

Dealer is there to make a sale. In my paperwork there was a statement that read some thing like " The customer is responsible for ensuring their tow vehicle is rated to tow the camper." We rolled out of there with a 3/4 ton Chevy. After hitting the scales I now have a Dually.

There are folks who tow Monty's with a 3/4 ton truck. Some add air bags to help with the extra squatting. For me it was a case of it is all fun and games until the lawyers get involved.
