I remember growing up, we was always told that we would have flying cars,(Jetsons style) before the turn of the century. Well that hasn't happened yet, so I`m not too concerned with self driving/autonomous vehicles overtaking the roadways anytime soon either.

Believe the mishap was in Tempe?

Hi

While not on 66 out west but I have observed several incidents one of them almost cause a head on collision because a semi was standing in the road downstream from a curve.

Just like the OP all of the drivers didnít speak English one French and one Russian.

They must be giving out CDLís by mail order.

Mass drivers test now in 25 languages. About 24 too many.

Just read an article about Semi Drivers. Seems there's a shortage and trouble keeping the Drivers they have. Seems all the new regs are driving good drivers away, so it would stand to reason that lesser qualified drivers would be replacing them.
