Winterize A On-Demand Water Heater

Am I right in thinking there is no special requirement to winterize a on-demand water heater with compressed air? No tank necessarily, just lines leading to and fro?

I would think it depends on the brand and what is described in the owners manual for the specific model. I know there is a maintenance requirement for most to prevent scale buildup. If you know which unit you are needing info on, you should be able to download a manual for that one.

On our hot water on demand on 3920FB we use rv antifreeze for winterizing. Run it through all lines.
We just make sure when summarizing all antifreeze is out of system before turning water heater on.
Make sure there is no power to on demand water heater as there is a safety feature that turns it on if ambient temperature is below freezing.
