Branson Missouri Holiday Camping Recommendation
We are thinking of going to Branson right after Christmas for 4 days. Any recommendations on RV parks in the area that you don't have to worry about tree limbs or clearance issues with a triple slide? Thanks in advance.

We stayed at America's Best Campground in Branson and thought it was a pretty nice place and the price was probably fair. The sites were terraced where we were and no problems with trees or the roads.
They have a two page layout in the 08 Good Sam Travel Life Directory.

At our last Branson rally, we stayed at the KOA Campground. It was centrally located and meets the criteria you mentioned. http://bransonkoa.com/

Stayed at Stagecoach RV park 6 weeks ago because it was a Passport America park, $15/night. Was happy with it, nothing fancy, mostly gravel but wide level sites, excellent cable and WiFi and great owners. It is about 6 miles from the main strip, 1/2 mile to Table Rock Dam. Might not be open all winter.

I highly suggest Oak Grove RV Park. It is just a jump away from the strip and still really quiet. I was there a year ago tonight and wish I was there right now. I say go to Branson and have some fun after all the holiday stress.
Their web address is http://www.oakgrovervpark.com

We enjoyed staying at Ozark Country Campground

on a trip to Branson last month for the Christmas shows.
(its Christmas in Branson when Andy Williams says it is!)

We were at Ozark, also a Passport America park, and paid $18 per night for a 50 amp pullthru. However, was told by the park manager that they would close half of the park Dec 1. Tha half that's open is under lots of trees and not satellite-friendly.
