Final axle update
In prior posts - Keystone had Alko-Kober replace our axles. I was not convinced they aligned them so asked Keystone to check. Keystone said at least one needs alignment, maybe two, because I had put a load range E tire on one side of one axle while the other tires are LR D. Keystone declined to pay for alignment - my fault about the LR E plus we're two months out of the axle warranty.
Bud's Body Shop in Elkhart found both axles needed aligning, to the tune of $150.
Since I had put one E tire on just one end of one axle but both axles needed aligning, AND since we've had inside tire wear since day of delivery, I somehow suspect the axles have been out of alignment since the unit was delivered. BUT, we're out of warranty and Keystone paid to replace the axles and two drums and did a number of other smaller things for me, gratis, I cannot complain. At least we know we now have axles in alignment. I still need to buy a new spare tire since the LR E tire is now my spare but will get that done soon.
Thanks to Keystone for all they did for us.
