Waterless Wash and Wax

While camping this last week at Huntington Beach State Park, SC I washed both the Monty and Truck. It has been almost a year since I have done both. I use Croftgate USA Wash N Wax, URL below (I have a 32 oz bottle I got three years ago, only used about 4-5 oz so far). Three cap fulls in a small buck of water, and you are good to go.

http://croftgateusa.com/component/hi...wash-n-wax8-oz

Watch the video to see how easy it is to use.

We got home, unload the Monty and took it to storage. Right when we got back from storage, it started to rain. I took a picture of my 2001 Ford Truck, right after it started to pour. You can see the water just runs off and beads up.

What prevents road grime from scratching the finish on a truck/car?

I love our new BS and thought maybe the paint would be hard to keep. Not, I've cleaned it twice with the Croftgate products, so easy and looks beautiful. It's really nice to be able to clean everything, including black parts, and glass with one product.

Bill,

Are you talking about while washing? If so never had a problem, just have to dip my wash towel in the bucket more often to rinse the dirt and grime off.

Will not do much to clean off black streaks, but does seem to help keep them away.

On the roof, I use Blue Dawn dish soap. You could use Wash N Wax, but I am afraid it would make the roof slippery.

When I clean my Monty and truck I use Croftgate Wash and Wax at 7.3Ford's recommendation, but alas, it's now dirty again and I can't clean it until I can raise my hands above my head again. Recovery from rotor cuff surgery is slow and it can't be hurried. It's frustration to check on the Monty and see it dirty and not be able to do anything about it.

We also now use Croftgate Wash n Wax and only use one cap full in one gallon of water with two micro tiber towels to wash the Truck and the same to wash the Montana. I spot spray on Croftgate Multi Clean for the tuff grime. Two gallons of water will get us clean. I do use a black streak remover for the road tar and Tire Shine to dress up the black walls and rims. One side benefit is not having to deal with the "No RV Washing" rule at most parks.
