I have been working on this for about 30 minutes and I believe that I have followed the directions to the letter. Could someone please tell me why I'm getting the URL stuff around my weather gizmo??

you need a img tag at the end of the first line.
You need a /img tag before the /url tag at the end of the 2nd line

These tags need to be enclosed in brackets.

I have the IMG tag where it belongs and added the /IMG before the /URL and it didn't change. I followed the directions on the home page link.

As strange as it may sound the answer was to move the "end" bracket from one line to the one above it. This type of code can drive one crazy!

It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT NOT TO PUT IN ANY BREAKS. The above tag must be one continous line (sentence if you will) with no breaks or spaces what so ever. DO NOT HIT THE ENTER KEY OR SPACE BAR
ALSO..BE SURE NOT TO LEAVE ANY CHARACTER OUT. Even the . - = are intergral parts of the tag and must not be changed or left out.

From RVWheels explaination the ENTER key must have been accidentily hit to drop the "end" bracket to a lower line.
AND YES RVWheels, "This type of code can drive one crazy." I was completely sane before I got into HTML and than adding the Forum Code to the mix drove me over the deep end.

IF anyone is having problems adding the GIZMO to their signature PLEASE contact me. I will be more than willing to assist you.
