Would love to but there is NO WAY I could ever afford the ticket prices unless I hit the lottery!! NFL Ticket exchange lists them starting at over $4000.00!!

Heard on the news the other night that the blizzard in the east caused the average price of tickets to drop $500.00. They were now down to an average of $6,100.00. When you consider plane fare and inflated hotel and restaurant prices I'd prefer to watch it at home, actually see the game including replays and eat food I got on sale from the supermarket.

Parking for the game. $150. We went to the Fiesta Bowl and paid $20. and $15. for a Coyotes game. Apparently ticket brokers are losing money cause ticket prices which usually come down close to the game day, are actually going way up in price.
We are staying at an RV Park in Gold Canyon, just out side Apache Junction, and will be watching the game from the comfort of our Mountaineers' Home Theatre seats.

The news "talking heads" tonight said that this the most expensive Super Bowl ticket prices in history!! So much for the average guy ever being able to go to one!!!

You could give me tickets on the 50 yard line and I still wouldn't go. I don't like crowds and I was never into watching football. Playing, yes - watching, no.

Just to show that the Super Bowl isn't super in everyone's eyes. Sorry if that upsets you. Besides, since the OP asked if anyone was going to AZ to watch the game, and no one responded "Yes", I guess no one should have responded should they.

Not sure if you aware of this Jimmy but Seattle has a very large fan base from the lower mainland of BC, I am sure some of them are fanatic fans and if they could afford the cost would go to the super bowl.

I watched last years game in my friend and neighbors 5er in Yuma last year, I am not a fan of football so that means I am not a Seattle fan, however I bought a Seattle baseball cap, put Seattle banners on his RV and storage shed because he is from Denver and a die hard Denver fan. I did not care who won the game, but thoroughly enjoyed myself watching his face and his verbal expletives as the game went on, great fun, better than the game itself.

I am a hockey and baseball fan, however I would not pay to go to the Stanley Cup nor would I go if given tickets for free at center ice. nor would I pay to attend the world series. I would be watching the game from the comfort of my home and that might upset those Rah, Rah fans of hockey and baseball but I don't care, that is my choice.

Like Tom and others have said, I don't like the crowds and "NO" sporting event excites or gets my juices flowing enough to pay big bucks to go and witness it in person.

Now give me a nice comfy beach chair on a lovely day in southern California along with a cool drink and I will watch the show all day long and my old heart will pump a lot faster than watching the Super Bowl.

To the OP, nope won't be going to the Super Bowl and the above is my reason why not.

Well we went to the game and the game was great. Half time show was not to good from the room we were in. It was better too watch it on the TV then in person because they did TV magic on most of the show.
