Cotton Hill State Park

Well, we're headed back to Cotton Hill State Park again!
Brought the Monty with us to the store this morning and
can't wait for the day to be over!

Dan said I packed WAY too much stuff, but you never know
what can happen. Plus, I like to have a choice
(meals, clothes, things to do).
Even if we don't eat it or wear it, it was there if we
needed it. Ya know?

We're staying in site #24 this time.
The place is booked like it was last year, hope to see
some of the same people we met last Thanksgiving, as they
said they come there every year.

Dan loaded up a half a truck of seasoned cut firewood
(and a shower pan liner to cover it up) They say rain.
We would definately be thankful for that! We're going
to smoke the turkey, I've got stuffing, sweet potatoes,
veges, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, etc...

Hope everyone has a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

*****
Just changed our notice on the front door at the store to say closing at 4pm today.
It really is cool owning your own business!

We actually left the store at 4 pm !!
Sometimes it's good to not have any customers!
It's so nice to have the Monty in tow!
Traffic is not bad and hopefully we can back in before dark.
Although the moon is almost full again like it was at our mini rally.
We passed where the new KIA plant is going to be. It's huge!!
Better get off this computer and be the navigator!
Helen, hopefully we won't see any alligators! Won't be the same without you!

We are all set up and aren't going anywhere for the next 4 days.
Wish it was 4 months. Sigh....
Full moon is out, t-shirts on, looks like rain, fire going in the pit.
Beautiful, beautiful night. Just talked to my Mom in Cheyenne,
they had 5 inches of snow last night!
This place is full, but the sights are so big, there's plenty of room.
We saw a Mountaineer down Old Mill Road a few spaces,
We'll have to go say "Hi" and tell them about the MOC
if they don't know already.
OMG! Kept hearing a sound, wasn't sure what it was.
just looked up and there are at least 100 Ladybugs
playing on the ceiling in here! Wow, they are everywhere!
This should prove to be interesting!
Later......

Okay, the ladybugs obviously have gone back to where they were.
Guess I'll deal with that tomorrow when they try getting some pumpkin pie!
The rain storm is going all around us. Pretty cool.
We're going to put on the turkey about midnight.
There is a whole family all around us.
Kind of feel like we crashed the party!
We met someone from the group. They're fun.
This is going to be a fantastic long weekend!
We are really starting to like site #24.
Who would have thought?

Well, not much rain. Pumpkin pie is gone and now working on this Pineapple Cherry Dump Cake and a big glass of milk! Haven't done any fishing yet. Matter of fact, I personally have not left the campsite!! I have started working on some new fabric covered photo albums for the store, and also got all the envelopes addressed to mail out our store calenders on Monday. A few movies, football games, staring at the campfire, etc..... Alot of people left this morning. Dan went to town to fuel up and get more ice a little while ago. This was definately a good idea. Later.... Lisa

We're back in the "real" world now.
Actually, we just left the real world.
Hmmm......is it time to retire yet from the everyday chores?
The answer came today.
All of our loyal contractors came in this morning,
and people in general just kept coming thru the doors all day long.
The phone rang with people wanting info, etc...
We're still needed out here in the "real" world I guess for a little while longer.
BUT JUST UNTIL WE CAN SELL THIS TO SOMEONE ELSE WHO WANTS TO CARRY ON!!
We could fulltime, longtime, whatever you want to call it in the Montana SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO easy.

Hmmmmmmmm.......
