Bedroom Slide
We are on our return trip from New England to Arizona. We noticed the closet door next to the shower in our 3670 opened when we opened the bedroom slide. After checking it out, I found the lower part of the face frame on the closet door had been pulled out from the side frame. I ran the slide back in and back out and noticed the slide would raise up when it started out and would drop down and hit the carpet about half way out. When this happened it would pull on the face frame. Any suggestions on what the problem is. Walt

We have a 3670 but I can't relate to your problem re the closet door next to the shower. What year do you have? There isn't any closet next to our shower. Just the sink.

What year is your 3670? The floor plan in the bed/bath changed in some 05's and all 06's I believe. I believe if someone has the 3400 it might be similar to yours on the bed/bath floor plan. We have the 05 3670 but our's is laid out the same as Bill and Ann's. Sorry, I can't help you.

Our,s is a 2005 3670. I pulled the plywood(OSB) off the bed frame. It's a good thing I did, because the only thing attaching the bed to the slide was one scew. All the other screws had pulled out of the wall. When it was built, they had attached the bed to the wall of the slide with six small screws screwed into the composite wall board with basicly nothing holding the screws. I added some angle brackets attached to the bottom piece of plywood.I still have not solved the problem with the bottom of the closet frame dragging.Of cource our warantee ran out the 15th of Aug.I'll let everyone know how it turn's out once I figure it out. Walt, any chance that slide needs adjustment??? I would guess our bed is put on about the same way, and we have not had this trouble, I think I would call Customer Service, even tho the warranty ran out last month.
Gotta fess up, I don't totally understand what you are talking about here, but comments of raising up and dropping when the slide is moving get my attention.
All they can tell you is go away and no, worth a call I would think, good luck,
Carol
