Splendide Maintenance Support
Great support from Splendide. We had our washer and dryer stackable installed late September ‘09. They worked great. I winterized the trailer mid November. When we used the dryer early January there was a rubbing/grinding noise that was not there before.
I finally got around to contacting Splendide and received some troubleshooting guidance. It required pulling the dryer out and checking the back area. The initial checks did not solve the problem so a second call did the trick. After pulling the side of the dryer off and removing the drive belt I found the motor bearing were the culprit. We were still under warranty and the replacement parts were shipped.
After installing the motor and fighting the installation of the rubber drive belt to the motor (what a pain) all is well and quiet again.
I feel my labor was worth the delay time we would have had if I had taken it to the dealer.
