NC to Branson Mo
Anyone make the trip from Wilmington or Raleigh NC to Branson Mo? Best route you found? Things to avoid? On our way in early May.

We are spending 2 weeks there. Friends we have not seen in years decided to bring their 5er and park beside of for 1 week. It will be our last trip for OUR season, we stay home at the beach June/July/August. Just a little over 1000 miles. We will depart on May 3 for May 5 check in.

Be aware there will be ENORMOUS amounts of traffic if you plan on being there over a holiday weekend. During the week it's not quite as bad. We visit there at least three time a year and stay at Turkey Creek, which is an Escapee park in Hollister less than a 1/4 mile from downtown Branson. While in Branson, be sure to spend a day or two at Silver Dollar City.

We generally stay in the CG at tourist areas on all weekends. Thanks for the suggestion.
