Note that if a failure or repair is covered under a manufacturers warranty or your insurance policy it will not be covered under a extended warranty which is not really a extended warranty but a "service contract" Check out the GS CSP, ask questions. For example we have a service contract with a local company at home that for a yearly fee takes care of a list of repairs and services at our home. Such as heating and cooling, appliance repair, inside and outside water and gas lines and others. the list of things they cover is clearly stated as are the terms of service. A Rv service contract(extended warranty) is much like that.

Also watch out for a little trick they use ,they offer you a 6 year warranty for XXXXXX $$$ but in reality it is only a 5yr because of the factory 1 year , we MADE them start the 6 year warranty AFTER the Factory warranty was up.... FYI

This a fact and you have to be on top of that. In most cases you can buy the warranty plan within the first year without a higher price. I think we purchased our plan for the 06 3400 in the 10th month of owner ship at the same price or do as above.

Bought the Good Sam policy and it's been great. Just returned from 9500 mile trip and several items being covered. Got all my money back in first two claims. So I am happy!

Hi Guys:

Wife and I just went with Cornerstone extended warranty. We are Canadian Snowbirds and needed a policy that guaranteed coverage in Canada and the US. Our service dealer in Mesa AZ ( RV Traders ) recommended Cornerstone. We purchased the policy today from Tee Pee Traders RV in Camrose Alberta for $ 1,500 for the 6 year policy. $ 100 Ded. each event. We did not go with the refundable if not used part of the policy.
From my research I have decided that this policy serves our purpose.
We have a 2013 Montana 3800RE and the Keystone warrantee expires on August 30, 2013.
NOTE: this is in CDN $ and we purchased our Montana in Alberta.

Does anyone know, if you can get an extended warranty after the first one expires. My is up in Feb 2014. I think I would like to insure our 07 a few more years, to see how the economy does. Then maybe trade it for a newer model.
