Rain, rain, go away!
As you can see by our signature, we have a 2004 3575rl.After a heavy rain last night, we developed a leak in the slide where the couch is located. When we woke up this morning we discovered a wet spot on the carpet by the left front of the couch. My wife wet vacuumed 1/2 gal. of water out of the carpet. After checking around the inside seals, I couldn't really see any evidence of water entering. Also checked the outside and can't see any obvious entry point where the water may be leaking into the slide. Luckily there have been no leaks before now. Has anyone experienced this problem? If so, what was the fix. I know a water leak can be very hard to trace but any advice on where to start looking would be greatly appreciated.

check the "tape" next to the outside top of the slide--we had the same problem once--eternabond tape and self leveling chalk fixed it

If you can, get a water hose and wet it down and see if you still have water comimg in. At least you can turn it off when you get the signal from your wife inside that it is leaking. Make sure that the side seals have not folded under when putting the slides out. If so, get some slide lube at about any camper establishment and spray it on. I spray mine a couple a times a year.....JB

Thank you for the replies. I did notice a couple of small tears in the tape toward the outside edge of the slide. I will seal using the Eternabond tape and then use the hose to see if that fixed the problem or if I still have work to do.
