As a contractor all our equipment & trucks are diesel, been using additives since the 80s with no issues. In extreme cold we always have diesel 911 on hand & it works. While snowmobiling in Quebec at minus 30 my truck was starting to gel, swapped in a new filter, filled 1/2 way with 911 & added 2 qt. into fuel.Within 15 min started to run good in a 1/2 hour it was running normal. We were told the fuel there was already treated & didn't add any treatment, lesson learned. Plus when its that cold I always try to plug in.

I use Ctane boost and lubrication additive, for not other reason than I feel good to know the fuel system is being lubed well.
