WHO HAS 1 OF THESE [INFO NEEDED]
I saw a bike rack that fits as part of the 5th wheel, trailer side and hangs 2 bikes over the Montana logo on nose,or [probably fits any 5th wheel]. looking for info on this.. you know; are they junk or does anyone have one mounted?? Looks like you would have to stand on your tailgate to get your bikes off.
THANKS

If this is the one that was shown in Trailer Life this month I posted some info about it a couple of weeks ago. Try a search on bike rake. We are going to get one before we start full timing next summer.
Happy trails.....................

Here is the web site for those bike racks. We are also planning to get one of these before we go south in Feb.

I think the receiver type is best overall. For instance, when we were in Albuquerque, we just pulled the bike rack from the Montana, and inserted it into the truck and went into town to ride on the 18 mile trail along the Rio Grand.
You limit your ability when going with a single use bike rack.

You can put a cover on the bikes. Actually bikes wash quite nicely. This rack can also be switched to your TV. That was mentioned in the email we received from them.
Happy trails...................

Ozz,
Am I correct to assume that you have a hitch receiver on the rear of your 5vr? (I don't remember you mentioning it before). If so, is it a 1 or 2"?
