Montana Mountaineer 326RLT or 324RLQ

If someone out there has one of the above units, could you give me some constructive comments as to quality, problems, good things, etc. I am just getting back into the RV life as my last time was in the 70's pulling a 17' then a 24' Travel Trailer all over the country. 5Th wheels were just starting to arrive when I quit the road for the Sea. Now retired, I'm ready to go again. I've been to the Super Shows and smaller shows, visited many dealers and have narrowed my choice to the Mountaineer Series. I will be using an F250 Club Cab Diesel single to drag it around. Your thoughts appreciated.

I have 2008 325rlt. Its my first 5th wheel. I'd buy it again just because of this web site because I find out all the things to check for and how to. Checking everything I see on this site-things I thought of things I didn't, I am very happy with my unit. This unit is very well made.

We have the 335RET and are very happy with the quality. It is very similar to the models you are asking about. We moved up to the Mountaineer from a TT. I also pull with an f250.

We have the 06 303RLD. We've had some problems, but so does everyone else. I think the quality of the Mountaineer has improved since 06 from what I have seen. Of the things that went wrong, I suppose the kitchen drawers bothers me most. The framework for the drawer glides was pathic; the whole mess collapsed in the floor. It consisted of 1 X 2 white wood framing, stapled together. This happened about 3 months after we purchased our unit. I went to Home Depot in Harlingen, TX and bought stamped metal gussets and repaired; no more problems.

Hi!! I have a 2010 326 Mountaineer and am very pleased with it. It seems to be built very well and is a dream to tow. I tow with a Ford Dually Diesel and you can hardly tell it is back there. Mine is in the Walnut Decor and it is very warm and feels like home. The only complaint I have is the bathroom is a little tight. Thats not a huge problem because I don't spend a lot of time in there. The bedroom however is very roomy and making the bed is no problem like most. Whatever you decide I hope you enjoy it as much as I do mine.
