2017 at $87K? How do you do that? I have a King Ranch Ultimate 4x4 Crew with almost every single option you can get and it was $79K. See sticker attached -

Reply: so not quite sure what you mean. How did I get it so cheap? Or How come so expensive? If you notice my comments and Location I'd think it was apparent we are talking Pricing from 2 different countries and 2 different currencies. If I apply today's exchange rate my sticker price equates to $69,000 in Greenbacks vs your sticker of $79,000 for an optioned up KR.
Going the other way your sticker equates to $100,000 in Loonies. I'm sure Ford gets a better exchange rate than me so the gaps would narrow slightly.

Me either. I'm quite happy running 63 - 67 and maybe 70 while passing. Been passed by a Caddy Escalade doing at least 85 pulling a TT. So heavy on the tongue he probably saw little other than sky. Chains were sparking and could not have had more than 4" from the hitch to the road.

If the speed limit gives me 75 I'm going to run 75 where I'm not heavy traffic. Sorry but I see no problem with that. That's what speed limits are for.

Quite legal and not a problem. I'm never in that big a hurry so keep it between 63 and 68 ~~ maybe 70 passing. With 15,000 pounds behind me, just more comfortable a little slower.
Taking a trip tomorrow. Total is about 760 miles. Breaking it down with an overnight in a nice CG right off the interstate. When I was working I have gone farther than 760 miles on each leg,,, no reason now. Even then, with family along I still kept the speed around 65 tops.

I'm sure someone does. I have a V10 motor home. It has about the same power as the 6.2. It will pull a large camper but you will quickly learn why a Diesel engine is much superior to a gas engine. A Diesel engine develops its power at low RPMs and a gasoline engine at much higher RPMs. Say 2000 V 4000 and a gasoline engine looses 3.6 % of its power for every 1000 feet of elevation if it's not turbo charged.
I pulled a smaller 5er from Va to Wy ONCE with a gasoline came home and bought a diesel.
I will say if you aren't going far or fast a 6.2 will work for you.

Pros of a 3/4 gasser ~~ a lot more payload than a 3/4 diesel


Cons ~ fuel mileage sucks, crawls up hills, really crawls up a mountain, engine often screams, transmissions get hot...

I tow with 2017 f350 6.2. I have no problem doing 65 up steep hills.I ordered it with 4.10 rear end. I have never seen transmission temp go up. I had a 2011 f350 with 6.2. very happy with it. I tow a 305rl HC. 1200lbs loaded. Truck rated to tow 15,800 5th wheel. maybe 20 years ago that was problem, but not now.
