Likewise from us. We are presently at the Blanco Settlement, but will spend Thanksgiving day with DD in Austin. Sure beats the frozen tundra although I do miss deer hunting.

Dam Worker, don't rush things. I'm still getting over Thanksgiving, LOL! DW has a tradition that her 3 brothers bring their fivers to where we stay and we have a major feast every day, especially on Thanksgiving. This year was a deep fried turkey, a roasted turkey, a smoked turkey and an oven baked ham. And this year with our offspring there were very few leftovers.

Family feasts are great because each family brings their best. The other days were homemade spicy chili (no beans, but it had just about everything else)and corn bread, smoked baby back ribs and fixings, and a shrimp boil. What a great set of meals except for one horrible thing. I broke my left collarbone and could not help with anything. I felt horrible I was mostly idle but the food sure was good!

Now it's time to watch our intake and calories until the next big feast rolls around, or maybe not!!!

Art that actually sounds pretty nice, family is important to me and you never know when you may lose somebody so we try to include everybody. I really like the ability to enjoy different ways of cooking.
Hopefully you will get healed up soon. At least you got to help with eating all those meals.

Tom Marty
