Montana High Country home at last!

Whew! Arrived home last night after the epic journey to Oklahoma and back...3,100 miles in 6 days.
Very thankful to have beat the nasty storm here in So. Cal.
Great weather all the way, just a bit of headwind on the I-20 and I-10 through Texas and New Mexico. (Boring drive)
Some initial observations:
~ Tows VERY nicely...I don't have a before and after to compare, but I do believe the MorRyde pinbox makes for a comfortable ride. The I-10 highway has some pretty rough stretches and the rig handled beautifully.
~ My truck towed it quite well. Averaged a bit over 13 mpg coming home with a fair amount of headwind at 60-65 mph most of the way.
Averaged about 19 going east to pick it up with a lot of 75 mph cruising so I'm happy with that.
~ Good experience with the dealership (RV Station) in OK. PDI went very well, they had really set it up nicely and my buddy and I found very few issues to resolve.
~ Really like the BFG Commercial T/A tires! Much better looking than the stock tires and glad I started out with them on the trailer for the long trip home. Traded the Towmasters back to the dealer for a full tank of fuel!
~ Rig looks very nice with the all black roof accessories (including the 2nd low profile A/C) and the charcoal color of the truck.
~ Still need to work on my hitching and unhitching procedure. Got it done OK, but took a lot more time and effort than needed; just wanted to be extra cautious.
~ The included 20ft long water supply hose is inadequate. Need to pick up a 30 at least! Had to go one night with no water supply!
~ Broke the coupling for the sewer line (cheap plastic "ears") so need to replace that too.
VERY happy to have discovered the "fix" for the lack of landing gear and slideout operation (blown fuse).
~
Seems like forever since we started looking at, reading about and thinking about trailers. I'm glad to have finally gotten to this point and now look forward to enjoying our Monty and having some fun times!

Glad you made it home and solved you problem. Maybe you can make it to the Spring Rally in Jacson, CA.
If not hope to see you at another Rally in the future.
