Guys

So guys are not allowed to cook or visit here??

Whether or not men cook is entirely up to them. As to visiting here...... Everyone is welcome to visit. Thank you, RVWheels.

That is rather sexist now that you mention it.
If you have been around this Forum for very long you know that we try very hard to not allow any inappropriate behavior. If you take a moment to look at which sex dominates the MOC membership you will note that it is heavily in favor of men.

The sections of this Forum labeled as "Girls gone MOC" is an attempt to encourage more women to participate. Nothing more sinister than that. Thank you, RVWheels.

My Dad does breakfasts, sandwiches and deserts. Mom lets him take take charge of the SOB's galley on a regular basis. She figures, why should she do all the cooking???

Yo go, Dad!

I think while the topic headings are sexist in that "Girls" is used, I think anyone can post here, just like everywhere else. Just like when I post as Art-n-Marge most know it ain't Marge. Actually DW is registered as Marge-n-Art and I don't think she's ever put up a post. It just ain't her thang!

I have used many of these posted menus from the ladies and they have been good! DW knows I do this and participates in the MOC through me. She likes the menu items, too.

Post away! Bringing up the fact you think this is sexist is sexist in itself...

And Pat, your Mom cooks, your Dad cooks, what about you?! LOL

I do the laundry, but I seldom wear a dress On the other hand the women in our family (13 daughters and Joyce) generally take offense at being called "girls"

Here's one of my "girls" and her story. I was sending "my girls" into harms way long before it was fashionable.

I don't know, Ann and I are known as "The Girls" in our GoodSam Chapter and we don't mind. Kind of nice being retired and still referred to as a Girl, much better than being referred to as the "Old Ladies" or "Old Gals", so we'll take Girls anyday.

I love the girls, women , ladies, Moms, Grandmothers, and my DW is a wonderful cook. Yet , I do most of the cooking outdoors on the WeberQ when we are out with Monty.

Geez, RVWheels, we're teasing! I don't think anyone here is actually accusing the MOC of being sexist. Especially an old-timer (and by that I mean long-time member) like NCFischers...

Art... of course I cook! I cook Betty Crocker, I cook DiGiornos, also Birds Eye, Eggo, Swansons, Lean Cuisine, Mrs Smith, and my favorite... Sarah Lee!

If you look up a cook book called The "RV Centennial Cookbook", you will find 2 of my recipes published in there. So I guess I am qualified to be a cook. No formal training but my Grandma and Mother taught me well lol lol.

When my bride and I were first married she did most of the cooking and I waited for it to be put on the table. Over the years I have grown up, take more responsibility in preparing meals, and my bride learned that I love to cook outside on the grill. Today, I cook most of the main dishes (on the grill), whether it be breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Today I still do not do much cooking on the stove, but if it can be grilled (most things can) I am there!
