We did it! Our First Montana

Just put the deposit down on a New 2014 BigSky 3625RE. Went to the Tampa RV show twice this week after going to our local dealer numerous times. Dealer(North Trail RV) blew away show prices, for the same price I got the Bigsky package. Our first Fifth wheel coming from a travel trailer bunkhouse. Now for the dreaded wait to be built.

Meet Mike Mack and another representative from Keystone, they were both great. Answered all our questions and took us out to see the new BigSky that is coming out soon.

After looking at all products at the show, I feel Montana gives the best bang for the buck. Yes some did have slightly better floor plans and glitz. But lacked in the hardware, such as suspension and door hardware and etc. At the end wife was even able to distinguish the differences.

Anyway glad to join a great support group as this.

That's GREAT! We're also waiting, and it's a LONG wait it seems, but I know it will be worth it! Congratulations!!!!

Did you get your delivery date? I know what we ordered, but I'm not positive what we'll get. I hope working with the Mfg at the show you have a much better idea!

Oh, and it looks like you joined right before we did!

X2 on the congrats. When we initially sat down with our salesperson he wanted to know exactly what we wanted in a fiver and what price range. Of course he already knew we were there to look at the new 3725RL. We told him same price range within $30,000 or so, big shower, king bed, big frig, 6 point leveling, 2 airs, and G-614 tires. He showed us the 3725 RL, then we went through 3 or 4 other brands with similar floor plans. The Redwood, sticker over $120,000, was nice. But when I looked at the "fit and finish" and everything else I sure didn't see a $40,000 difference in value. I thought the Redwood may have looked slightly better outside, but IMHO the Montana put it to shame on the interior. The new Cedar Creek and Grand Design were ok, but again, the Montana quality just appeared better to us. I know there are problems with some of our Montanas, but I sure am sold on this brand/model. If this new one does half as good as our old 3400RL I will be a HAPPY CAMPER!

MDL, no delivery date yet, not going to be here for our next two planned trips. So really no rush.' Pretty confident what we are getting. I guess they are still going to make a few more big skys before they become thier own line .
