I still do not believe that Keystone would tell the dealer that the condition is "normal". Bold or not, I would not trust a dealer after they told me something along those lines, it would make me very suspicious of the dealer. Just my thoughts.

Hi Bingo

Look at my post.

The subject of the post is to “get it in writing”.

Get this statement from the dealer in writing. Request it in writing. If that doesn’t work have him open a work order to repair the item. Then when he finishes the job make sure and get a copy of the work order.

If they will not do this then call keystone immediately and complain about the lack of written response to your request for repairs.

If you don’t get this in writing then as far as Keystone is concerned the problem doesn’t exist. Don’t get me wrong I don’t fault Keystone for this position they have to control their warranty claims.

What I do fault Keystone about is refusing to put communications to the owner in writing. I have had them return my emails with a phone call. This is not acceptable. When this happens I get the person that called me email address and after the conversation a send an email that starts with “I understand our phone conversation today ##/##/#### at EST ##:##” and put my understanding of what was said in the email. If the person will not give me their email address I sent this to Holmes@kestone. Using the name of the person in place of “our”.

If they don’t respond to this email then you have a written record they have agreed to.

I also use a “return receipt” on all emails this prevents them from maintaining they didn’t receive the email.
