Ok, looks like our local (non Goodyear) tire place is giving me a decent deal on the G614s: $305 plus $15 installation per tire. They won't take the Marathons on trade, but we'll put them up on Craigslist. We're getting them replaced on Saturday, just before we leave for Florida the next day. There are so many more problems going on with this issue that I won't get into, but suffice it to say I'm expecting something to go wrong. Wish me luck.

$305 per tire. I'd be all over that. Even Discounttiredirect.com list for $396. Goodyear list G614 at $405 for 4 $1620. For my Marathons allowing $88 for 4 $352. The difference I'm to pay $1268.
We must live in wrong part of country.

Camping World in North Little Rock, AR, has the G614s for $318, but no trade on Marathons. Wingfoot, where we got ours, was $330 and we got the Goodyear credit.

I have my tires on order. Armed with information from Virginia I called my Wingfoot to see why the difference. I am getting the tires for $338 + 10% local tax + mounting and balancing. Bottom line just short of $400.
Arkansas must not have taxes on tires.

We do have taxes. Ours came to $390/tire, but then we got the credit from Goodyear.

Let me rephrase that. $390/ tire was the total we had quoted PRIOR to finding out what the Goodyear credit would be.

Ours were done today. Total came to just over $1300, inclusive of mounting and tax. The local tire place that sold us the tires wouldn't buy the Marathons, so we're going to put them on Craigslist.
All in all, I'm happy with how it turned out.

Got our new G614s today. Peace of mind now. So happy we were able to work out somewhat of a deal with Goodyear on the bombs. Wingfoot Tire is great to work with.
