North Carolina Campgrounds
Hello Everyone,
Can anyone recommend a good campground in the North Carolina Maggie Valley/ Waynesville area.Looking for full hookups & large sites with plenty of privacy and noisy streams.
Thanks,
Philip,

We have stayed the last two years at Creekwood Farm RV Park north of Waynesville:

We stayed one year at the Wingray Family RV park which is on the same highway--not quite as "refined", but we enjoyed staying at both
Just back over the mountains between Dillsboro and Cherokee we have stayed at the Holly Cove RV Park which we also highly recommend.

Thanks for the great responses and recommendations. We will be staying at Holly Cove campground(made resv.today)in late October for the leaf season. We've stayed in the Franklin area many times and really like Waynesville and surrounding areas as well. Its always fun to experience different campgrounds.

Philip, in my opinion you have made an excellent choice. We have always enjoyed staying there. Hope you will enjoy the camp and the leaves.
We have been going to that area since 1960 when we flew into Bryson City in our little plane (from East Texas) and I preached for a revival in a mountain church named Olivet--a Methodist church between Whittier and Cherokee.
