64 and going strong

My loving bride, and one of my wonderful sons, daughter in law and 1ST Granddaughter, took me out last night to my favorite restauranst for a nice peaceful birthday prime rib dinner. Cathy crocheted me a beautiful Afghan blanket, house socks to match and a beautiful pillow to support my back while watching TV. I think she is getting me ready for old age. Next year will probably be a Cracker Barrel rocking chair. Chiropractors still saying I will play pickleball again. We can only hope!!!!!

Cathy has developed a bad case of sciatica and has been in alot of pain for three weeks, she is taking good drugs and going to PT twice a week, we are a sad looking pair hobbling around together.

Oh my, Phil. I thought you were way older than that. Hmmm, not sure how I meant that but if you think real hard there can be a compliment in there. LOL! Nice gifts, too. All those gifts! How are they gonna top that when you get to your big 6-5? Happy Birthday, Phil!

So sorry to hear about Cathy's sciatica. I've had that before because I started traveling too much, sitting in a cramped plane for too long. Can you imagine, the sciatica flaring up, having to sit in a plane every day or so for across the continent flights - 5 to 6 hours at a time and no way to stop the pain. I don't wish that on anybody. Drugs didn't work for me (made me loopy and didn't get rid of all the pain), so I didn't like taking them anyway. I hope she gets it behind her pretty quick.

Take care, both of you!

Happy Birthday Phil, sounds like you had a wonderful celebration. There is nothing better than spending the day with family.

By the way, we share the same birthday.

Wait until you get to be my age. Then 64 will look pretty good.

Sorry about the aches and pains. Time should heal.

Tell Cathy that Earlene had Sciatica. They only thing that helped was going to a pain management specialist and he gave her a shot somewhere in her butt (hard to miss. oops) and she never had to do another thing. Pain went away. Just some food for thought.

I'd like to give you some information to deal with your situation, but I feel you are "to old." (And I don't have any.)

Happy Birthday - youngster.

Happy Birthday and keep up the PT. That little joint between the sacrum
and the ilium bones sure can be a big pain in pelvis. Hope both of you are better soon.
