Life changes

We have made so many wonderful friends in this MOC organization. It always felt like extended family.
However, due to Gene's deteriorating back condition, it has been extremely difficult for him to hitch and unhitch our Montana. Our only choice was to quit this lifestyle that we love so much, or move to a motorhome. Since quitting was not an option, we decided to purchase a motorhome. It was a very emotional change. I loved our Montana and everything it represented. The MOC has been an important part of this lifestyle for us. We have learned so much, and met the most wonderful people.
I will continue to lurk around the forum.....it is a habit that will be hard to break. This is a great forum.
Thank you everyone. It has been a teriffic experience. We intend to keep the friendships we have made along the way, and hope to see you on the road. Safe travels

We wish you the very best with the new motorhome. We will all be interested in how the transition goes, sine many of us will be in the same situation someday. We too, although rookies, are thinking about the day when we will switch to something else, thuswe are always checking out motorhomes when on a rv sales lot. Please don't be strangers.

You have got to do what you got to do. Actually I wanted a MH this time but got outvoted. You will still be able to enjoy the RV lifestyle/Good luck.

Gee you guys, I hate to hear that Gene's back is so bad. Tough break. We had so much fun with you on our caravan to the rally last fall and really hope our paths cross along the road. We will be in Texas the month of April so let us know if you are anywhere here.

Be sure to keep in touch.

Gene and Shirley, you know it won't make a bit of difference what kind of rig you're living in. You will always be our friends and we will meet up every chance we can. We had such a wonderful month with you guys in Phoenix and wish you only the very best.

I'm so glad to hear that you've found the motorhome to be easier on Gene's back and I hope it quickly becomes the cozy home that you had in your Montana. Godspeed. See you down the road.

It is great that you recognize the need for change and adapt to the changes. So sorry that circumstances require this change. Hope the MH exceeds your expectations.
