airmatress

we have a 2011 montana 323rl highcountry and the airmatress worked good for the first season and then took out in april for daughters b-day and it had a big bubble all the way across the top and bottom side in the same place, took it to Deans rv in tulsa and they warrantied it and kesystone sent a new one in 7 days. we are now ready for our trip to angastora resivoir south of Rapid City South Dakota for a week with my 2 brothers and sister and nieces and nephews, possible a trip thru custer state park and up to mount Rushmore. happy camping everyone,

Glad you got it taken care of in time for the trip.
Have a great time!

While I was on active duty in the Marine Corps, we had these olive drab air mattresses we would carry with us when we were in the field...seemed that every morning the thing was flat! Stopped carrying it since I knew I would be laying on the ground anyway in the am...this experience is why I would NEVER consider buying an air mattress for the Montana...or any other reason. However, I have heard from many people that they love their air matresses...hope yours continues to serve you well!

Glad they replaced it for you. Don't be surprized if it leaks again, particularly where it folds into the couch. If like mine, not the greatest quality. I replaced mine with one I purchased at sports authority after patching leaks twice.

If you take it out of the couch and fold it and put it in the pull out drawer under the coach it will last longer.

My sister-in-law has been bugging us to take her on one of our trips this summer in the new rig. Now that I know it's typical for the air bed to leak, I will have to give her the bad news and tell her there's no place to sleep. DARN!!

Have fun on the trip. We did that same trip in 2006 with our brand new 3400RL and had a great time. We were there on Memorial Day weekend and attended the flag lowering ceremony. The called all Vets on stage to take part in the ceremony. They asked each Vet to describe their service record as part of the ceremony. It was a very special night for everyone there. We will do that same trip sometime in the next 4 or 5 years.

we added a memory foam topper to the factory mattress on the sleeper
takes a little extra push to close it
sister-in-law often travels with us and loves the sleeper
..or maybe it's just my cooking
