Water Heater Element

After a summer of the electric element not working, I finally got around to replacing the 3 year old element. It looked worse than the anode rod. I had my radio station engineer look at it and he stated there was no way it could heat any water as it was so corroded. It tested good on the meter but was too corroded to work. After heating for less than an hour, the water is starting to feel warm. I'll check later tonite to see how it is progressing. Hoping that's all it was. It has been a strange season with all the little things that have gone wrong but we use it alot. 5 days a week from April thru the end of October.
