5th Airborne Sidewinder

Just bought a new Dodge 2500 with shortbed and installed a 5th Airborne Sidewinder on the 08 Montana 2955. Has anyone used the Sidewinder? What do you think about it?

I like it a lot. Sometimes it hard to hookup but I think I solved that problem

We have had one since we got our Monty about 2 years ago. If you had asked us in the first six months you probably would have only heard swear words from us. We had a devil of a time learning the tricks of hooking and unhooking. I think there were times that it took us a couple of hours to accomplish one of these tasks - I had gotten to the point that I dreaded it. You really have to have it at the right height, the right angle and the pin centered into the receiver. Now we can typically achieve our goal the first try! Still not sure if the difficulties were the 5th Airborne or our receiver just needed a breaking in period but we finally mastered it.

Thanks for your input. We're about to take out for three to four weeks - we'll see how things go.
